Each shelf is made from reclaimed scaffold board and prepared to keep the character of the timber while making it suitable for interior use.
Approximate shelf sizes: sanded and finished shelves are usually around 22cm wide x 3.3cm thick. As each shelf is made from reclaimed scaffold board, sizes can vary slightly depending on the individual board, its previous use and the preparation required.
You may see dents, old fixing marks, stamped edges, weathering, colour variation, small surface cracks or other reclaimed features. We do not use rotten or structurally damaged boards.
Our shelves are generally flat and suitable for shelving and interior projects. However, slight bows, twists or movement can be present. If you need perfectly straight, uniform timber, reclaimed scaffold board shelves may not be the best option.
Finished shelves: sanded smooth and finished with multiple coats of Osmo Polyx for a durable, natural surface.
Shelves can be paired with our industrial steel J brackets for flat walls or our alcove brackets for shelves fitted between two side walls. Brackets are available as an additional purchase option on the site.
Longer shelves require additional brackets due to the weight of the wood. Wall fixings are not included because the correct fixing depends on your wall type.
Online orders are available up to 5ft due to delivery limits. UK delivery is available on selected sizes. Longer sizes are also available. Please contact us to request a quote or arrange collection/local delivery.
