The Furniture Makers Club sells reclaimed scaffold boards, finished shelves, brackets, table tops, tables, shelving units and custom reclaimed wood furniture.

Products

Many of our products are made from reclaimed scaffold boards. This means every item is different.

You should expect natural variation in:

  • Width

  • Thickness

  • Colour

  • Grain

  • Texture

  • Surface markings

  • Old fixing marks

  • Stamped edges

  • Small dents

  • Weathering

  • Board movement

We do not use rotten or structurally damaged boards.

Product photos are examples only. The item you receive will vary in tone, grain, markings and character.

Measurements

All measurements are approximate.

As our products are made from reclaimed scaffold boards, small variations in width, thickness, length and finish should be expected.

Please check all measurements carefully before ordering. For custom sizes, we make to the measurements provided and cannot take responsibility for incorrect measurements supplied by the customer.

Prices

All prices are shown in pounds sterling.

Prices may change from time to time. The price you pay will be the price shown at checkout when your order is placed.

Custom sizes, custom finishes, painted metalwork and local delivery quotes are priced per project.

Payment

Payment is taken through our website checkout or by another agreed payment method.

Orders are not confirmed until payment has been received.

Lead times

Many products are made to order.

Typical lead time is 7-14 working days before dispatch or collection.

Custom finishes, custom sizes, painted metalwork and larger projects may take longer.

If you need an item by a specific date, please contact us before ordering.

Delivery

Delivery is available on selected products and sizes.

Larger items, oversized shelves, longer boards, tables, shelving units and custom furniture may require collection or a local delivery quote.

Delivery times are estimates and may vary depending on product size, courier availability and workload.

Collection

Collection is available from South London by appointment.

If you select collection at checkout, we will contact you to arrange a suitable collection time.

Please do not arrive without an agreed collection appointment.

Installation

Wall fixings are not included unless clearly stated.

The correct fixing depends on your wall type. Customers are responsible for choosing suitable wall fixings and ensuring safe installation.

If you are unsure, we recommend using a qualified installer.

For shelving units and tall furniture, we strongly recommend securing the unit to the wall for stability.

Custom orders

Custom orders include items made to your specific measurements, custom finishes, stained finishes, painted metalwork, oversized products and bespoke furniture projects.

Please check all details carefully before confirming a custom order.

Custom-sized or custom-finished products are made specifically for your order and cannot usually be returned unless faulty, damaged or not as described.

This does not affect your statutory rights.

Returns and cancellations

Standard products ordered online may be cancelled and returned in line with your consumer rights.

Custom-sized, custom-finished or personalised products cannot usually be cancelled or returned unless faulty, damaged or not as described.

Returned items must be unused and in resaleable condition unless faulty.

Damaged items

Please check your item as soon as it arrives.

If your item arrives damaged, please contact us as soon as possible with clear photos of the item and packaging.

We will review the issue and confirm the next steps.

Changes to your order

If you need to change your order, please contact us as soon as possible.

We cannot guarantee changes once production has started, especially for custom sizes or custom finishes.
